Having taken up photography a couple of years ago, I'm finding myself at that awkward stage of sort of knowing what I should be doing, but still with just about everything to learn. Back in the dim and distant days when it was still grim up North, I grew up with record sleeves and advertising posters as my inspiration, rather than gallery trips or 'proper' (?) art. I think it shows in what I now end up producing.
