I have  been a serious amateur photographer for about 25 years, following an interest in cine photography.  I currently use a Minolta Dimage A1 digital camera, chosen for it's light weight combined with high image quality.   

My waning interest in photography was rekindled by the advent of digital imaging, which allows me to create images that I could not make in a chemical darkroom.
