I have tinkered around with cameras for many years, off and on, but only recently been bitten hard by the photography bug.

I enjoy photographing almost any subject but feel strangely drawn to rust, stone, wood and water.

I avoid using flash. I may pretend that's for artistic/aesthetic reasons but really it's due to technical ignorance – I'll get to grips with it one day!

I shoot, process and print digitally. (I like to have full, personal control of what happens at each stage.) I'm enjoying finding ways of playing with the printing process, getting images out of the computer and on to a variety of different surfaces - not just paper.

It's all such fun, isn't it?
