Helen Williams, NDPS Public Relations Officer
For me, photography 'runs in the family', as they say. I
think I was born with a camera in my hand, or if not, then my elder
brother and father made jolly sure there was one in my toy cupboard
from an early age. Brownie 127 it was... still got one... film's
a bit difficult to source these days...
I spent the first forty-odd years of my life working in an
ill-disciplined, self-taught way, using photography in my professional
and social life. It is only in recent times, with the development of
digital technologies, that
I have begun to apply some structure to my workflow.
I shoot entirely digitally and have followed the digital camera
revolution from the earliest Canon Ion camera onwards.
