I first got into photography when my parents bought me a second hand Pentax SLR for my 19^th birthday.  I went on to study photography at A-Level.  Although I have bought a digital camera, I am a fan of “proper” photography – black and white film, and darkroom work.

My favourite subject is the disused slate quarry near my parental home in Dinorwig, North Wales – although this is no longer quite so convenient!  I enjoy diving and am keen to combine my two hobbies by learning how to take good underwater shots.

I have never entered any competitions or even voluntarily shown my work publicly so only constructive criticism please..!
